AWD Member Adrienne Lovette was awarded the Exceptional Artistry Award at the Official Latino Film Festival for her film Little Bean. The film centers on a mother’s loss during a time of loss – made in quarantine during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Little Bean also won the SUNDANCE Co//ab May 2020 film challenge.
Lyn Goldfarb
EDDY’S WORLD, a documentary by AWD Member Lyn Goldfarb, had its broadcast premiere on KCET on December 15. The short film, which explores toys, ideas, and aging is streaming on KCET until January 5th.
Jessica Redish
The Last Croissant, a film written and directed by AWD Member Jessica Redish, won Best Comedy Film at Los Angeles Comedy Film Festival. The short revolves around a woman who will do whatever it takes to get the last croissant.
