Tess is an award-winning filmmaker and actress based in LA. She wrote, directed and starred in her debut feature, This Is A Film About My Mother, developed as part of the 2019 Cine Qua Non Lab and currently in post-production. She stars opposite her real-life brother Will Harrison (Daisy Jones and the Six, Amazon 2021). They also co-starred in It’s Perfect Here, Tess’s debut short film which received the Best Narrative Short Award at the 2015 Napa Valley Film Festival. This film, as well as Take Me Out with the Stars, Things Break In, and DOG, have been programmed at over fifty festivals worldwide. In addition, Tess starred in Noor Gharzeddine’s feature film Are You Glad I’m Here which premiered at the Atlanta Film Festival, won the Audience Award at the Brooklyn Film Festival and is now available to stream on Amazon. Tess’s music videos for artists X Ambassadors (Interscope/UMG) and Minke (This Fiction) have generated over 14 million views. Her next project, The French Movie, has received support from the Cine Qua Non Storylines Lab 2020, the Nostos Screenwriting Retreat 2021 and made it to second round of the Sundance 2023 Dev. Track.
