Born in Chicago, IL., Reiko moved to NYC at 19. While both acting, coaching and directing in regional and off-Broadway
theater she started to build her film and television resume. Her breakthrough role came with the role of Michelle
Dessler on the hit show 24. Since then, she has been working consistently in film and television also with series regular and recurring
roles on 24, ER, Lost, Damages, Hawaii 5-0, Revolution, Scorpion, as well as guest and leading roles in many other
television shows, films and plays.
Reiko directed her first short comedic film, Veronica in 2017 which has enjoyed
many awards and festivals. She is currently in post production with a short drama about a woman fleeing domestic violence called I Was A Stranger. She is thrilled and energized by the current demand for fresh and underrepresented
stories.
