Pamela Guest, in her first film role played Robert DeNiro’s secretary in THE LAST TYCOON, under the direction of Elia Kazan. She created the role of Sarah onstage in THE THIRD DAY COMES directed by John Cassavetes opposite Gena Rowlands and Martin Landau. Also an Artios Award-nominated Casting Director, she worked with filmmakers David Lynch on “Blue Velvet,” Paul Schrader on “Patty Hearst,” David Twohy on “Timescape,” Mike Figgis on “Stormy Monday” and Donald Cammell on all his US films (including Marlon Brando’s “Jericho”) discovering talent Julia Roberts, Natasha Richardson, Sean Bean and Pete Berg. The webseries “Guest Appearances” she executive produced won Jury Awards at the Austin and Nashville Film Festivals. Her first short film script “Shattered” won the Van Gogh Award at the 2016 Amsterdam Film Festival. The short subsequently titled “the first of many” chronicling her #MeToo experience (and co-directed with daughter Elizabeth Guest) won Cinequest in 2018. Member of CSA, ATAS, WIF, FIND, Time’s Up Entertainment Safety Committee, National and Local Boards of SAG-AFTRA and the union’s Blue Ribbon Committee on Sexual Harassment. She is an ambassador for PAVE (Promoting Awareness, Victim Empowerment), a registered speaker for RAINN and a lifetime member of the Actors Studio. She teaches acting workshops at the University of Michigan and Michael Moore's Film Festival.
