Narineh Tahmasebian is an Armenian-American actress, writer, producer, and director. She was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor’s Degree in American Literature.
Narineh has studied acting at The Groundlings Theatre and the Anthony Meindl Studio in Los Angeles.
Narineh has teamed up with fellow director Julia Camara for a feature she’s co-written and is producing. They are currently seeking financing in hopes for it to be filmed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2020. Narineh is also currently co-writing a feature with actor Josh Hopkins of Cougar Town. Narineh is now officially a Semi-Finalist with a female-driven feature in The Script Lab's screenplay contest (1 of 165 out of 5500 made it through).
Narineh wrote, produced, directed, and starred in her own pilot —Hopped—about three women working at a brewery. She’s also completed a short film—Creative Urges—which she produced, directed, and starred in. So far it’s been selected for Los Angeles International Underground Film Festival (won Best Film by audience vote); Oregon Cinema Arts Fest (nominated for Best Actor & won Best Ensemble); IndieFest (won Directing award), Jelly Fest Semi-Finalist, La Femme Fest and Pomegranate Fest official selection.
Narineh has been captivated by directing and is enrolled in UCLA's directing extension program to learn more about the craft.
