Lisa is a writer, director, producer born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. She's resided in Los Angeles the past 11+ years working in a variety of roles in entertainment.

Lisa's career began at top talent hubs Creative Artists Agency and Paradigm Agency working under a senior literary agent who represented icons such as Stephen King, James Ivory and Robert Towne. Thereafter, she transitioned into creative producing working with Variety’s “Billion Dollar Producer” Jordan Kerner on family films such as the SMURFS franchise. She currently runs Kerner’s film/TV slate and has developed projects across a variety of buyers ranging from ABC, Bravo, Sony, Fox, and NBC. Most recently, she served as Executive Producer on Paramount's live-action hybrid film, CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG.

Motivated by her desire to tell more culturally relevant, female-driven stories, Lisa wrote/directed/produced the award winning web series MY LIFE WORKED OUT, the anti-Trump sketch titled RACIST BABY, and a dark satire titled GIRLS GONE CAMPING with nearly all-female teams. Her work has been accepted into several festivals and featured on the homepages of FunnyorDie and Elizabeth Banks' platform WhoHaHa. In addition, she directed the thriller short LAY TO REST starring Christine Donlon (ESCAPE ROOM) which was selected for the First-Time Filmmaker's Festival and Semi-Finalist of LA Cinefest.
