Leonora Anzaldua is a photographer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles, CA. My passion lies in amplifying the stories of underrepresented peoples and in making art for social change.

She trained in photography as an undergraduate at Yale University and earned her MFA in directing at USC's School of Cinematic Arts. There she was honored with the HSF Cheech Marin Award, the NHFA Scholarship in 2010 and 2011, and the Rodolfo Montes Scholarship in 2011. Leonora's first short film was nominated for a student Emmy and her MFA thesis film "Madrugada quebradiza: The Break of Day" was honored with an Imagen Award Nomination, won a Gold Remy Award at Houston Worldfest, and participated in the Palm Springs Film Market.

Leonora has worked in web series, documentary, hosted, and branded content for Barnes & Noble College, Buzzfeed, AwesomnessTV, Skybound Entertainment, IIRR, and Chesa Boudin for DA, among others. Her narrative projects have participated in countless festivals and been nominated and awarded many times over.
