Lauren Fields is an award-winning writer & director whose works have screened at multiple festivals. She also worked as an assistant to Palme D’Or winning director Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive) and Matt Shakman (Game of Thrones).

A graduate of USC’s Film & Television Production program, during her final year, she was selected for a prestigious opportunity to direct an episode of an original sitcom in front of a live studio audience under the mentorship of DGA Award Winning director Peter Bonerz.

Since graduating, she has directed a 10-episode web series starring Amber Benson from Buffy the Vampire Slayer as well as several short films. Her most recent film BLUR, which she wrote & directed, starring Daniel Bruington (VICE) Lexie Stevenson (The Young & The Restless), was an official selection for the Ft. Lauderdale International Film Festival (2018), Culver City Film Festival (2018) and HollyShorts Screening Series (2019), LA International Women’s Festival (2019) and was named a Finalist for Best of Fest at LA Shorts Festival. Her TV pilot script FRAT STAR was named a quarterfinalist in ScreenCraft Pilot Launch 2018.
