Jennifer Steinman Sternin

Jennifer Steinman Sternin is an award-winning filmmaker with over 20 years of experience in television and filmmaking. Most recently, Jennifer Directed and Executive Produced "HI, I'M NANCY RUBIN," a documentary special commissioned by The Magnolia Channel featuring one of her most beloved high school teachers (now streaming on MAX). Her first scripted film, THE OTHER ROAD, screened at the HollyShorts Film Festival in the AWD Showcase and is currently on the festival circuit.

Steinman Sternin's previous directorial work includes the award-winning documentary short GRAMMA & GINGA: THE MOVIE (Peacock, 2021), doc feature DESERT RUNNERS (2013) which was named by the Huffington Post as one of "The Top Documentaries of 2013” (DirecTV and Amazon), and the SXSW Audience Award Winner MOTHERLAND (2009).

Steinman Sternin is also an accomplished Producer and Editor, recent work includes: DEAR SANTA (Feild Producer/Editor) (IFC Films, TribecaX Best Feature Winner), the Disney+ series PICK OF THE LITTER (Lead Editor), and TIME FOR ILHAN (Producer), which documents U.S. Congresswoman Ilhan Omar's first run for office. TIME FOR ILHAN premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and garnered multiple awards including a 2019 Emmy® Award and a NAACP Image Award Nomination.
