Find a Director
Born to immigrant parents and raised in NJ, Erin chased what she thought was the American Dream and toiled on Wall Street before moving to LA to pursue her passion for filmmaking. She worked her way up from intern to producer on eight feature documentaries for HBO, Showtime, and other networks.
SHOOT named Erin as a helmer to watch in their worldwide search for the next generation of directors. She has since directed commercials and branded content for (RED), General Electric, Omaze, and Call of Duty. Erin is on the directing roster of the Invisible Collective in the US and Easle in the UK.
Films that Erin directed have been praised by Upworthy, Gizmodo, Vimeo (Staff Pick), SciFi Now, Huffington Post, Mitú, Angry Asian Man. Her films have been curated by LACMA Young Directors Night, the British Film Institute, the Academy of Motion Pictures, Slamdance, NY Fashion Week, etc. She has also sold screenplays to Twentieth Century FOX and Super Deluxe.
Erin won Mary Shelley Prize for directing KEPLER X-47, a sci-fi short film about a woman trapped in a human zoo exhibit on an alien planet, starring Bella Dayne (HUMANS, GUERRILLA). The jury praised Erin for her “original vision, rigorous world-building, and creative storytelling in her impressive short film."
Erin is bilingual (English and Mandarin Chinese). She is also an adrenaline junkie who loves junk food.
