ELAINE DEL VALLE is an urban, latinx, bilingual, award-winning multidisciplinary storyteller.
Elaine first garnered critical acclaim with her autobiographical, Off Broadway, stage play, Brownsville Bred for which she won the HOLA award for excellence in playwriting and was named trendsetter at the Multicultural Media Forum.—NY Times called it "From Girlhood Trials to Onstage Triumph”.
As a Director, Elaine’s films have garnered several awards on the festival circuit; including for Vanguard, Best Director, Best Performance and Best Short Film.
In 2019 Miami New Times named her as one of "5 Filmmakers to Watch”.
Elaine’s film “Me 3.769”(a triggering coming-of-age short, which she wrote, directed and produced) premiered on HBO in August 2019. The film was also supported by a grant from the Sundance Institute and Knight Foundation.
Elaine was featured as an inspirational artist in "Beating The Odds" (a 2018 PBS documentary) alongside such luminaries as Michelle Obama.
Elaine's 2019 directing work includes a series of comedic commercials for Hilton Hotels and her pilot "Princess Cut", a female-centric, heart racing tragedy.
