Anya Adams is an award-winning Canadian-American director best known for the TV series Ginny & Georgia, The Expanse and The Good Place. She is a two-time NAACP Image Award winner for Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series for GLOW and Black-ish and The Alice Initiative also named Adams as one of the top emerging female filmmakers for 2020.

Adams is also a co-founder and producer of the popular, Webby-nominated podcast Sista Brunch, and she is additionally a recurring mentor in a variety of spaces, including the Television Academy, AWD and Women in Film Fellows. Most recently, Adams has directed episodes of the Apple TV+ series Roar, the finale of the Amazon series A League of Their Own, and the Emmy nominated second season of the Showtime series Yellowjackets.

Adams’ debut feature film Prom Pact is currently available on Disney+ and was recently nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Fiction Special.
