Alysha Haran’s artistic career began on the professional stage in the San Francisco Bay Area. After receiving her training at the American Conservatory Theatre, she relocated to Los Angeles where she discovered her passion lay on the other side of the camera and began producing commercials and music videos. During her seventeen-year career, Alysha served as a cryptologist at the National Security Agency (NSA) before commissioning as a Naval Officer in 2007. She spent many years afloat, serving as the Electrical Officer and Fire Control Officer onboard USS PINCKNEY (DDG 91) and USS ANTIETAM (CG 54), respectively. Ashore, she served internationally at the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo, Japan, and as aide to the Commander, Naval Forces in the 5th Fleet.

Alysha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Directing, a Master of Arts in Creative Writing (Non-Fiction) and a Master of Arts in Japanese Studies from Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan. She is a member of the Dramatist Guild and has garnered many accolades for her writing and short films from festivals and contests around the world.
