Find a Director
Aimee Morgan is an award-winning director, writer and producer of films, music videos, branded content and live theater with a focus on empowering, entertaining and educating audiences through thought-provoking visuals and storytelling. Her films have screened at film festivals worldwide, winning awards for Best Narrative Short, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor, and nominated for Outstanding Female Director. Aimee doesn't stick to one genre; she's written/directed comedy, drama and horror, and loves documentaries as much as narratives.
After completing the Writers Guild of America’s year-long Veterans Writing Program, she studied Directing at UCLA and has directed live theater performances with the United States Veterans' Artists Alliance's NEW WORKS Presentation. Aimee's original series, BRAVO CHARLIE, was a finalist in both the Sundance Episodic Lab and the Producers Guild of America's Diversity Workshop. Aimee has projects in various stages of development that include narrative films, a documentary about women in the military, and a web series as part of a transmedia storytelling project. Prior to becoming a filmmaker, Aimee earned a B.A. in Visual Communication and worked as a digital marketing strategist and interactive designer. She is also a U.S. Army veteran.
