AWD is pleased to offer a 2022 virtual edition of Directing the Actor with AWD Founder and USC Professor Jennifer Warren. This six-month course will meet for monthly online sessions where each of the 12 selected directors will choose a scene from an established screenplay, cast it, and hold a rehearsal during class where they receive feedback in preparation for shooting their scene outside of class.

This last class is a closed class where the directors will screen their scene, which will be critiqued by the class and an invited guest director.
