Monique Younger is a Director, Producer, and Costume Supervisor with over two decades of experience in film, television, and live events. A proud Howard University graduate, Monique began her career behind the camera and has since built a multidisciplinary path that includes award-winning documentaries, short films, web series, music videos, and stage productions.

Her work focuses on elevating underrepresented voices, celebrating Black girlhood, and telling grounded, character-driven stories with cultural specificity and heart. As Co-Creator/Executive Producer of The Level Up Experience on AspireTV, Monique developed a reality competition series that supports HBCU students on their journey from campus to career—blending education, empowerment, and entertainment.

In addition to her creative work, Monique has served as a Costume Supervisor on 35+ major productions, including The Game, Cobra Kai, Sistas, Barbershop 3, and Average Joe. Her ability to lead departments while keeping projects on schedule, on budget, and on story has made her a trusted figure on set.

An AWD National Board Member and a member of the Television Academy’s Costume Design & Supervision Peer Group Executive Committee, Monique is passionate about mentorship, representation, and community. Whether behind the camera or behind the seams, she brings clarity, care, and creativity to every production.
