For the second interview in our Spotlight Series: Reproductive Rights, AWD Directing members Meredith Yinger and Marissa Vonn discuss Vonn’s short film, “Little Texas,” about a teen from deep in the heart of Texas who finds an unlikely friend while pursuing her reproductive freedom.
Inspired by the Women’s March of 2017, yet scared of what a future without access to reproductive care would look like, Vonn set about researching abortion laws, making this powerful short film, and hoping it wouldn’t be relevant today.
