AWD South is thrilled to announce the launch of the AWD Book Club! The selected books will help members hone their craft as directors. Meetings to discuss each book will be held virtually every other month, and guest authors will attend as their availability permits.
DIRECTORS TELL THE STORY by AWD Honorary Members Bethany Rooney and Mary Lou Belli has been chosen as the first book in this program. Mary Lou will attend the discussion, moderated by Tomeka M. Winborne.
Judith Weston will be the guest author for the February Book Club Meeting; we will be discussing her book “DIRECTING ACTORS– 25th Anniversary Edition.” April’s Book Club guest is Author/Director Dan Attias. In conversation with Tomeka M. Winborne, Mr. Attias will be discussing his book DIRECTING GREAT TELEVISION: INSIDE TV’S NEW GOLDEN AGE.
