Her scripts have been selected for labs/mentorships/fellowships w/Sundance, Stowe, Cine Qua Non, and Women In Animation. As a Writer/Producer/Director, her short, These Colors Don't Run, was shot on film with the support of Kodak, and distributed by HBOmax. Her second film, Post Comedy, won a camera & lighting grant from DC-Camera/WIFV-DC for socially relevant storytelling.

As a Producer, she's on the team of feature film, Cohetes (dir: Drew Saplin), a grant recipient through the Austin Film Society and a selected project for their 2026 Artist Intensive, and she's also working on Chloe Caudillo’s ¿Tienes Miedo?, winner of the La Femme Lens x Mírala Screenplay Competition (in post-production). Via is the Producer of short films, La Juana (dir: Anayamel); Bridge. (dir: Cristina Wolf); and Development (dir: Chloe Caudillo) - part of the 2023 LALIFF/Netflix Inclusion Fellowship, starring Haskiri Velazquez (Saved By The Bell reboot; The 40-Year-Old Version by Radha Blank).

Via is the co-writer of Holiday Hangover, a bawdy Christmas rom-com optioned by Happy Accidents. Via loves sprinkling magical realism and genre into her comedies and dramedies about Latinas who say they don't give a shit... but nah, they totally do.
