Tracey Anarella is an award-winning director and producer. Her first film, “Jesse & The Fountain of Youth” (2015) won Best Short in 10 film festivals. Tracey’s second, “Brooklyn United” (2016), screened at the Cannes Short Corner, while winning several Audience Awards. Her first feature, Not Black Enough (2017), stars Henry Louis Gates and Vanessa Williams. “NBE” is a highly viewed black documentary on Amazon Prime. Her next, “Livingston Taylor – Life Is Good” (2018), stars Carly Simon and Ian Anderson, winning the Van Gogh Award: Amsterdam Film Festival.
Her narrative directorial debut was the 2019 pilot, “Made In Rhode Island“; here, she helmed a 60-person cast /crew. Her latest doc, “There She Is” (2020), explores the confluence of beauty pageants and feminism in the Me-Too era. Tracey ‘s new documentary in production, “Your Sister Is Missing”, focuses on the epidemic of Murdered & Missing Indigenous Women in the US. & Canada.
