Kylie Eaton is a director and writer of science fiction, action/adventure, and genre blending films. She mixes her Midwestern roots with her love of all things other-worldly to create grounded genre content that explores themes of redemption and recovery.

As a director, she has worked for such clients as Capitol Records, Republic Records, Oliver Peoples, and Shakeology. Her narrative work has been featured at Oscar-qualifying festivals such as Indy Shorts, LA Shorts, and Bronze Lens, showcased in 3D World Magazine, and premiered on Gunpowder + Sky's YouTube Chanel DUST. She has worked with veteran talent such as Gina Torres and Amy Davidson, as well as talented up-and-comers Eris Baker ("This Is Us") and Violet Brinson (CW's "Walker").

Her short films have garnered several awards, including Best Fantasy Short at Comicpalooza, and The Mary Shelley Award at Other Worlds Austin. Her feature script KINETIC was a finalist in ScreenCraft’s SciFi and Fantasy Competition. In 2021, she was awarded Film Empire's Industry Next Award, through which she was placed with mentors at Marvel, HBO, and A&E, among others.

She is a current fellow in BlackMagic Collective's Feature Directors: Next Level Initiative, and a former fellow of Alliance of Women Directors Directing the Actor Lab.

She currently serves as Co-Chair of the Board of Directors for Alliance of Women Directors.
