Jamielyn Lippman was raised in Valencia, CA she started performing in commercials at age 7. After high school she moved to Hollywood, her first role was in "Boogie Nights'' Lippman guest starred on several TV shows including "The Drew Carey Show" and in numerous independent films.
Lippman attended LACC's film program, in 2006, she directed/produced the documentary "Die Trying" about the underlying determination to be an actor in Hollywood and featured such talent as Amanda Fuller (Last Man Standing), Michael Biehn (The Terminator). Lippman is the director/producer of “When The Bough Breaks” a documentary about postpartum depression. Narrated & Executive Produced by Brooke Shields the film was distributed in 2017 by Gravitas Ventures and picked up by Netflix. She also directed/produced “3 Years in Pakistan: The Erik Audé Story” about an actor sent to death row in the most dangerous prison in Pakistan for a crime he didn’t commit. The film was released in Laemmle’s theaters in October 2018 and distributed by Gravitas Ventures. Lippman is currently developing “The Price of Pride” the narrative version of “3 Years in Pakistan” it is a co-production with her company Point Of View Pictures and Truth Entertainment- Joe Newcomb who is behind “Dallas Buyers Club” Lippman is also in post-production on the narrative thriller “Killer Weekend” which she directed.
