Jasia Ka
Jasia Ka is an Emmy and Telly Award–winning director and series creator who thrives executing her creative vision in high-pressure, high-profile environments. A former All-American runner, she brings a bold “feminist Rocky” perspective to her storytelling, blending realism with fantasy to create atmospheric, irreverent worlds where outsiders and dreamers take center stage. She's directed a vast portfolio, from BMW’s global commercial starring Brooke Shields, to the Emmy-winning documentary Ghost, to the BRIC-TV series Girls Aren’t Funny.
Her filmography spans supernatural comedy series like Bushwitches (NewFest premiere) and the Mark Duplass-supported queer rom-com Stalling (Oscar-qualifying Provincetown International Film Festival premiere).
Jasia has led creative teams at Condé Nast Entertainment—including Architectural Digest, Condé Nast Traveler, and Bon Appétit—directing A-list talent such as Margot Robbie and Riz Ahmed.
Jasia is a current fellow in the 2025 AWD Directing the Actor Lab, and she has also participated in the 2025 Gotham Accountability Sprint and the 2023 NYFA Women in Media Grant. Jasia has been featured in the press on Deadline, IndieWire, NY Times, Pitchfork, Paper Magazine and The Hollywood Reporter, cementing her reputation as a visionary new storyteller.
