Elaine Hamood Strutz is an Emmy Award-winning film & TV editor, writer, and director. She edited for Investigation Discovery's THE NIGHT THAT DIDN'T END, currently in its first season and breaking records with female audiences. She's working on the 11th season of Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta, and editing a new pilot for E!

Her one-hour drama screenplay, THE CLIMB, was a semi-finalist at CineStory last year and a second-rounder at the 2018 Austin Film Festival. She wrote, directed, and co-starred in the short drama-comedy, GET ACTION, which premiered at NiteHawk Shorts 2017 and went on to screen at several international film festivals.

She recently volunteered with United in Film to teach filmmaking in Uganda and to help organize the 1st annual African Film Festival. When the Prime Minister sat through the entire film block, she nearly cried. She's also a programmer in the upcoming 3rd annual Vidlings & Tapeheads Film Festival 2019, in her native metro-Detroit.

In 2014, she co-founded Four a Minute Productions, a boutique video production company based in Los Angeles. Four a Minute's content has been featured on the Huffington Post and the front page of Funny or Die, including a web series episode of BROAD CITY.

She's also a storyteller featured in an upcoming episode of the TWO TRUTHS AND A LIE! podcast.
