ISABEL CUEVA, is an award winning director, actress, producer and screenwriter. She has directed two short films, and an independent half hour pilot. Her first short film "IN THE NAME OF FREEDOM", won multiple festival "Best Short", "Best Writer", "Best Actress" awards, won a CINE Golden Eagle Award, one she shares with many great top directors, like Stephen Spielberg, and Ron Howard. The film was distributed worldwide by Shorts International and is available on iTunes and Amazon. Cueva also co-created, directed, wrote and starred in her first comedy independent pilot "The Haunt". It has won multiple festival awards for "Best Pilot" and "Best Ensemble Cast". As an actress Isabel has starred in features, like the Lionsgate "Aztec Warrior" opposite Luis Guzman and Eugenio Derbez. She starred with Danny Trejo on "American Flyer" and recently wrapped the feature thriller "Angel Baby", she plays the main character and also produced the film. She is currently working on getting financing for two features she will direct. Her production company "CAVE Entertainment" is passionate about making strong female driven films. Cueva is a Sag/Aftra member and a NALIP (National Association of Latino Independent Producers) member.
