Anietie Antia-Obong
Anietie Antia-Obong is an award-winning producer/director/writer whose work spans television, film, theatre and social media. She has created for a wide range of clients, from major studios and large corporations to small businesses and nonprofits, bringing heart, clarity and imagination to every story.
She is the founder of Shaken World Screenworks, a video production company that develops independent film and video projects while helping businesses positively impacting our world grow sales, brand awareness, and customer engagement through heartfelt visual storytelling.
With an unshakeable love for indie productions, Anietie is currently developing several original projects, including the documentary series Love & The Marriage Squeeze and Unstoppable, a rock musical for the stage co-written with Frank Lawson.
Her body of work includes the short films Priyanath (Director/Producer/Writer) and Queen Mother (Director/Producer/Writer); the documentaries Beyond the Headlines: Black Girl Missing for Lifetime (Senior Producer/Writer) and PBS’ The World of Nat King Cole (Local Producer); television series including Natural Companions (Producer/Editor), Simply Beautiful (Producer/Writer), Dr. Phil Primetime (Field Producer), and House of What?! (Producer/Writer); as well as several commercials (Director/Producer).
