AWD Member Marissa Chibás has been selected as one of thirteen fellows for Sundance’s Screenwriting Intensive for her feature script, 72, which she is attached to direct. The film centers on fiercely independent 18-year-old Cuban American Viv who celebrates New Year’s Eve with her family and friends in 1972 Manhattan — surrounded by Watergate, the Vietnam War, and explosive social unrest.
