Jacqui Barcos
Jac/Jaqui Barcos holds an M.A. from USC film school and a B.A. from Vassar College. Her thesis film, "Mala Sangre" won a DGA award and screened at numerous U.S. and International festivals, including the International British Short Film Festival.
Barcos is the recipient of a Kodak Grant and a finalist in the ABC/Disney Directing Fellowship Program.
Professionally, Barcos has worked for such film companies as American Zoetrope and Miramax Films.
She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Moth Storytelling Series in New York City and is an active Board member of the Alliance of Women Directors.
