Lynn Hamrick


Lynn Hamrick is a multiple award-winning director of features, documentaries, and network television. Her feature films FINDING KELLY and SPLITSVILLE aired on Showtime, HBO and The Movie Channel. Selected television credits include: sitcom (FAMILY TIES) series (FUDGE, SILK STALKINGS, BABY-SITTER'S CLUB, GROWING UP TOGETHER) reality (MISSING REWARD), pilots (TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, SCANDALS) and After School Specials (TESTING DIRTY) earning her a Directors Guild Award for Best Direction and a Cable Ace Nomination. Her documentary CHESS KIDS aired on Public television and won many film festival awards including Best Documentary at the Chicago International Film and Video Festival. Lynn received her MFA from UCLA Film School and is currently an Assistant Professor mentoring students in directing and production at Chapman University Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. Lynn's most recent film, based on a play, STANLEY MARSHALL'S MYTH, was an Official Selection of the 2005 Newport Beach Film Festival, The Method Fest (2006), and The Cannes Short Film Market (2006). She is in post-production on a documentary about a sushi chef, HIRO'S TABLE, and is developing a feature based on the French novel, THE SECOND FACE.
