J. Elizabeth Martin

J. Elizabeth Martin (Beth) is an award winning Writer, Producer and Director. She directed "Bloody Mary", an official selection at the Rhode Island International Horror Festival, and recently wrote "The Greater Meaning of Water", a sport-themed feature, for Olympian Sky Christopherson.
She was an associate producer on the short films "The Guitar Player's Girlfriend" and "Plus or Minus: A Few Things I Thought I Should Consider" and wrote / produced the PSA "Caring" for OPCC in Santa Monica, California.
Beth wrote, directed, and produced an action/adventure-themed cooking mockumentary starring former Navy SEAL-turned-professional-chef Dave Long with the unlikely cooking show elements of parachute drops and pyrotechnic stunts. She was also a Story Producer on a large-scale reality poker pilot, "Bluff" shot on a cruise ship.
2009 finds Beth producing "Wong Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest", an irreverent one-woman show starring Kristina Wong and writing/directing her own web series, "Head Space" under her own shingle, Ravenscar Productions.
In addition to filmmaking, she has a career in Information Technology and was a software consultant for such firms as The Walt Disney Company, JP Morgan Chase, Compaq, Harvard University and John Hancock, among others.
Beth also runs PieRat Screenwriting, www.pierat.com, which connects writers and producers with professional screenplay analysis from top notch studio readers.
Beth is a graduate of the Boston University School of Film. She is represented by Bonnie Black at the Bonnie Black Talent and Literary Agency of Los Angeles.
